For receiving teams

Built for the hot lab that signs for it.

Radiation safety officers and nuclear pharmacists answer for every package that arrives. Centragen builds each lane so what arrives, when it arrives and the papers that come with it line up with your license, your survey and your records.

What arrives with every delivery

A signature at your hot lab

Custody ends with a signature where your staff receive the dose, not at the loading dock.

Papers that match the package

The shipper's papers, marking and labels survive every handoff intact, so the transport index and category on the papers match what is on the package.

The operator for every leg

You know who delivered, under whose authority, with the operator for each leg named on the record.

Your receiving window

Every lane is built around your receiving window, not a vehicle's schedule.

Your obligations at receipt

The rules your receiving team works under

Your obligations do not change with the carrier. The lane should make them easier to meet.

10 CFR 20.1906(b), (c)

Survey on receipt

Labeled packages are monitored for surface contamination (unless the contents are a gas or in special form) and, above a Type A quantity, for radiation levels: as soon as practical, and no later than three hours after receipt in working hours, or three hours from the start of the next working day. A delivery inside your receiving window keeps that clock with your staff.

10 CFR 20.1906(a)

Arranging receipt

A licensee expecting more than a Type A quantity arranges to take the package when the carrier offers it, or takes possession promptly once told it is at the terminal. A named delivery time and one contact make that arrangement simple.

10 CFR 20.1906(d)

When a package is out of limits

Removable contamination or radiation levels above the Part 71 limits mean an immediate call to the final delivery carrier and the NRC Operations Center. With one accountable party, the carrier call is one call.

Your license

What arrives has to fall within what your license authorizes, whether that is a Part 35 medical use license, a nuclear pharmacy license or an Agreement State license, and your receiving records have to show it.
